Hair is inspired by trends and the type of dress the bride decides.  From classic to edgy it's up to you and no one can tell a bride what to do on her special day.

Here is beautiful side swept waterfall of curls.  This would look amazing on a sweetheart neckline and princess skirt.

Here is a Grecian goddess look. Try this with a tiara.

This week Gerri showed me how to do a crown braid and I love it.  This is something perfect for a holiday party, or any other special occasion.  It's pretty easy (if you know how to braid)and very cute here's how it's done...

Section hair and leave out a 2 inch perimeter around the hair and clip it.

Make sure the hair is straight. You can straighten your hair with a flat iron and CHI heat protecting spray.

Braid hair in an underhanded braid using the hair sectioned in the middle and pin. Take a rat tail comb and loosen the braid for a relaxed and effortless look.

Curl as desired.

To Treat or Not To Treat?

Fall Hair Color

Fall might be the time to experiment with color.  There is less risk of damaging your hair, your void of chlorine, summer heat, salt water and other summer elements that can damage color treated hair.  With the drab conditions of fall and winter you can bring color to your look by trying colors like ravishing red, chocolate brown and even sunny blonde.  Go drastic this fall! If you have raven black hair try adding a few peek-a-boo colors around the face like red, or brown. An ombre effect is another option to try a little color at a time. Try an all over Vibrant Red Shade to your hair to give off a sexy, glamour look to you r hair. If you have Layers try highlighting your hair with blonde and a dark brown undertones to create depth and definition to your style.

Blond and Chocolate are a nice balance for the fall.

Have you ever met someone who was just REALLY good at what they do and yet so humble and kind. Meet Gerri, my personal hairstylist! Celebrity hair goddess, and "weavologist"! I met Gerri almost 4 years ago when I had a hair emergency and need my hair done for an event.  I was given Gerri's number and she not only answered my emergency but did an awesome job.  I knew then that we would be "hair-friends" for life! Gerri Styles My Hair is a phrase Gerri came up with for her clients to hashtag her styling looks. Not only does Gerri Style My Hair in her shop-- she styles me at home.  Gerri gives me great tips to keep my hair healthy and fly in between my visits with her. She's always looking for ways for me to keep my hair flawless and every Tuesday I will share a style that Gerri has taught me that I can share with you.

Today-  CREATING A NICE WAVY ROMANTIC LOOK...

I love how my hair has a slight wave the day after Gerri does my hair.  I love lots of curls and Gerri usually styles me with big bouncy curls but there is something about the day after that I love... The Wavy Romantic curls. The curls that look effortless but styled. It looks like I rolledout the bed with sexy waves.  I asked Gerri how I can achieve this look more than whenever I wanted...

 Make sure you have a Barrel Curling Iorn, Holding Spray and Duck Clips.

 Section your hair into three sections. 

Start from the back section and start at the nape from the root and hole the barrel curling iron upward for 10 seconds, then turn  the barrel downward for 10 seconds. Repeat. 

When finished  spray a light holding spray, and remove the clips. Volia! You have a Wavy Romantic Look!
