Protecting Your Ends

When growing your hair out, you become clueless on what to do to your hair. The most important thing you want to remember is taking care of your ends play a major role in your hair growth.  Things to remember to protect your ends:

 

1) Trim your Ends every 4-6weeks

2) Make sure your wash your hair once a week

3) Dry hair as soon it has been washed, instead air drying then blowing it out

4) Try to get protective hairstyles

5) Don’t use flat irons or any heat styling tools on your hair daily.

Gerri Styles My Hair: Retro French Twist

For the first time in my life I am enjoying my short hair journey. Typically by now, I would have grown tired of it and slapped a weave in my hair! Gerri does a great job of showing me different short styles. 

This week, Retro French Twist! I love this look. It's perfect for work, special occasion, or a casual look. It's low maintenance with high impact. 

I workout so I needed a protective style that will still keep me sharp for business.

Use a light Aragon Oil for the sides of your hair and wrap the sides of your hair with a silk scarf. 

Use a non drying holding spray for the twist
