Gerri Styles My Hair: Finger Waves

Another  Beyonce album! We can't stop talking about how genius and creative Beyonce is.  Perhaps one of the biggest take aways from Mrs. Carter after the music is her looks in her 17 videos!  One of the things I wanted to do but was scared to try was fingerwaves.  Now that I have my new short cut I am looking for ways to keep it fun, edgy and stylish.  Check out Bey in this video, "Haunted" she is rocking... FINGERWAVES!  I called it and now it's offfical, I have to at least try finger waves with my short do!

This is a sexy look taken from the 20's it's very chic and edgy. I like the  way finger waves frame the face.

I think I will take the plunge and have Gerri style my hair in finger waves... what do you think is this a look that you would try with short hair?

Let's talk AMA Hair Crushes!

Award shows arealways exciting for the stars, but for those of us at home we're excited to see what designer celbes choose to wear.  My favorite moment is is hair--- who did it right, who did something new and who was the showstopper. For this year's AMAs the celebrities stepped onto the red carpet making a statement! From fringed bangs, long andsStraight, layered or a blunt cut bob.  

Lady Gaga rode in on a n oversize theatrical white horse looking amazing in blonde mermaid hair.This was a very different look for her, but it definitely softened her look.

I loved how Taylor Swift and Kelly Osbourne added fringed bangs to their hairstyles to give it a little versatility. 

The AMA’s were exciting  to see all of the glamorous hairstyles. I’m a firm believer that you hair can sometimes make or break your look!  What was your favorite look and what would you have done differently with your hair for the red carpet?
