Spring into Color

It's spring! You said you wanted a change this year, we'll there is no time like the present! Color takes you from boring to beauty! No matter the length of your hair try color at some point this year.  Color adds versatility. It can be added all over at the nape, in the bang or at the crown of your head! 

April is wearing coffee brown highlights in her short style. 

Be sure to let a professional apply color to your hair. Your stylist will need to keep your hair conditioned, and use the proper color treated shampoo. In between visits do not use an abundance of heat. Be sure to keep your ends trimmed.

FAB FRENZY MARCH MADNESS

This Thursday join Gerri as she partners with FAB FRENZY to support Interact of Wake County. FAB Frenzy is a shopping event that hosts a Sip and Shop event every first Thursday from 5-9 pm. The event is held at the Woman's Club of Raleigh. Shop vendors, sip on signature drinks and enter in a raffle for a designer purse to benefit Interact! 

Gerri will be a vendor providing hair consultations, doing dry styles and applying lashes for free.

Workout Alternatives

Working Out is great, but how great is it when you are having trouble coming up with ways to keep it healthy and protected while working out. Working out causes you to sweat more in your hair which makes your hair get build up faster and have dry scalp. It is very important to make sure you shampoo your hair once a week, continue to get deep conditioners, and drink plenty of water. Working out with Short hair, I recommend getting a nice Satin or silk headband to wear around your hair to lay the sides down. If you have Long Hair try pulling you hair up in a loose ponytail, box braids, twist hairstyle, sewn-in, or cornrows. Then you can continue to be Fit and Fabulous!
